cvs summer clearance + weekly deals

The $4/$20 coupon in the Readi-fill booklets has been so good to me. I use it on every transaction that I can now! This was 2 transactions below:

CVS 9/6 rolling ECB deals + summer clearance totes

4 Cooler totes $4.25 each (75% summer clearance price)

1 Skintimate $3.49 (raincheck price with $3.49 ECB back)
    =$20.49    - $4 /20 = $16.49 in ECB get back $3.49, so I paid $13 total.
I figure I can use them for grocery shopping, and I really needed to get rid of more expired ECB.

2 Aussie $2.99 each (get $2 ECB each)
2 Crest w/ Scope TP $3.49 each  -$.50 MQ (get back $2.50 ECB each)
    1 Schick disposable $6.99 -$3 MQ (8/16 SS) =$3.99 get $4 ECB
    1 candy filler $.89
    =$20.84 -$4/20 -$4 in Qs above = $12.84 in ECB/gc and get back $13 ECB!
With the $4/20 this turned into a great way to roll ECB and not lose money!

Hidden clearance deal here at CVS. These 11oz bags are not marked on clearance, but are ringing up at stores as $.99 or $.39 each!! That's 90% off. I limited myself to 5 bags... and have already gone through one. They are so good!

I have so many more ECB to spend this week before they expire, I basically have to give in and "waste" them. Check out the clearance sections at your stores to find what you can at 90% off.

These blankets were just $.25 each

I had to buy them- figure I can donate to the shelters once it gets cold again, or to maybe an animal shelter.
Used a $3 ECB and $.50 on GC for the ice breakers.

Because I had so many RR from last week's meter deal, I decided it'd be a good way to blow some $$ by getting the clearanced toilet paper - IF I was lucky enough to find any. In two days I hit about 16 stores, and only 3 of them had any Charmin and Quilted Northern left! Here's my stash:

    10 Charmin 12pack - $2.49 each - $1 MQ (from the P&G Q rebate book) or $.25 from P&G insert = $1.49 or $2.24 each
    4 Quilted Northern 6 pack - $1.39 each  -i had no Qs :[
    14 Reynolds 70ft Foil - $.90 each = $12.60 - 12 $1Q = $.60 total!
    2 Gillette Shampoo $1.59 each - b1g1
    2 Gillette deodorant $1.12 - $1Q =$.12
    misc. cat toys, fillers
2 Sterilite totes (to store all my stuff!) $2.29 each!

I have spent the past few weeks packing and moving, getting settled in, and dealing with endless repairmen/installation people! So in the meantime many of my ECB have expired. I set out last night to try to find what I could on summer clearance and hope that the stores would take my ECB. Luckily I walked into a store that had a patio set for $49.99. It was the ONLY thing left of their clearance!

So after ECB, I paid $.13 on a GC and now have something out on my patio.

I plan to get back in the swing of some grocery store shopping later today so keep checking in!
