I thought nothing would top the sales of FAECB items on Black Friday from CVS, but thank goodness they did it again a month later so I could use all my ECB up!

I paid 1.44 on GC and used $190 ECB. I got back $230 in ECB and giftcards, so it was a pretty good profit! Here's my haul.

I also got these 99 cent American Greeting cards by using $1 off ANY American Greeting Card wine tags found at Kroger. Even though the coupon came from Kroger, they don't sell anything but Hallmark there!

hidden ECB deal on vitamin water @ CVS!!!

For whatever reason, the 20oz bottles of Vitamin10 water are each counting towards the offer for buy a 12 pack, get $3 ECB!! The limit is 9, and so far confirmed that they have to each be on their own transaction. Only the 10 kind is working, not plain vitamin water. I got 9 of the same as to not get a flavor that didn't work.
There are also $.50 Qs in the beauty book found in the pharmacy. We are talking major overage!

cvs vitamin water 10 freebie $3 ecb deal!!

Report back what flavors work and where!

cvs summer clearance + weekly deals

The $4/$20 coupon in the Readi-fill booklets has been so good to me. I use it on every transaction that I can now! This was 2 transactions below:

CVS 9/6 rolling ECB deals + summer clearance totes

4 Cooler totes $4.25 each (75% summer clearance price)

1 Skintimate $3.49 (raincheck price with $3.49 ECB back)
    =$20.49    - $4 /20 = $16.49 in ECB get back $3.49, so I paid $13 total.
I figure I can use them for grocery shopping, and I really needed to get rid of more expired ECB.

2 Aussie $2.99 each (get $2 ECB each)
2 Crest w/ Scope TP $3.49 each  -$.50 MQ (get back $2.50 ECB each)
    1 Schick disposable $6.99 -$3 MQ (8/16 SS) =$3.99 get $4 ECB
    1 candy filler $.89
    =$20.84 -$4/20 -$4 in Qs above = $12.84 in ECB/gc and get back $13 ECB!
With the $4/20 this turned into a great way to roll ECB and not lose money!

edit: round 2 & 3 added! scroll down to view

Yes, that's right- it started at 12 AM Thanksgiving! I was able to hit a 24 hr store and even then some items were already out of stock. Here's what I got (the same items on 2 cards), most are Free After Extra Care Bucks:

    2 Aussie $2.99 each - $1 Q = FAECB
    2 Colgate Advancedd $2.99 each - $1 Q = FAECB
    2 Loreal Lip $6.99 each - $1 Q = FAECB
    1 Johnsons lotion $5.69- $1 Q = FAECB
    1 Garnier towlettes $5.99 - $1 Q = FAECB
1 Sally Hanson nail polish $3.79  = FAECB
    1 Cover girl Liquid foundation $7.99 - $1 Q = FAECB
    1 Cover girl powder $5.99 - $1 Q = FAECB
    1 Playtex - $1 Q = FREE

all of the items above but the playtex and sally hansen were a money maker because of coupons.
one one card i get $10 off $50 Qs, so my total oop was $.39 after using ECB - my profit on that card was $21.01
on the other card, all i had was a $3 off 15, and i somehow LOST a colgate Q instore... so my total was $1.43 instead of $.43 :( and my profit was $12.01

The store was out of both razors, so I got rainchecks, and I didn't get a few of the items that I knew I didn't need. I ran in to quite a few ladies from HCW- very nice. I think I will head out again today but am in no hurry. I am very happy I was able to roll some big $$$ ECB from previous weeks!

    edit: round 2 added!

3 transactions, at 2 stores resulted in the items below and I ended up paying $3.63 OOP with an ECB profit of almost $20!:
am now sitting on ~ $215 in ECB :)

    edit: round 3 added!

     2 Gatorade
    2 Complete Solution
    1 Schick Trimmer
    2 Duracell
    1 Philips Headphones
    = OOP of 44 CENTS!

    CVS week 11-16

    Posted on 11/19/2008 8:23:23 PM  •  Comments (0)  •

WOW are there some great deals this week!

FREE after ECB  Loreal Pro Age - $15.99
FREE after ECB Zantrex (energy drink?) - $4.99
Spend $10 on Glade, get $5 ECB back - (limit 5 per card)
Spend $19.98 on Duracell, get $15 ECB back (limit 3 per card)

here's what I have gotten so far! (the other items were fillers so I could use a few $4 off $20 Qs.)

So to spend $10 on Glade, I used 2 b1g1 Glass scents Qs every time I purchased 4. So i spent $5, got $5. FREE.
You can also use the Q for b1 oil refill (they are $3.99 this week), get 1 oil warmer (so i got the fan priced at $7.99). your OOP on this is just $3.99 and get $5 back- so its a money maker.

Buy 2 16 packs of Duracell at $9.99 each - use two $.75 off MQs, and one $5 off 2 CVS duracell coupon. If you add a filler like the Reeses you can also use a $4 off $20 Q- making this a couple dollar moneymaker! I won't ever need AA's again.... they last til 2015!

    week of 7/5

Since Walgreen's was a dud this week with no deals, I went ahead and maxed out my deals at CVS. The school supplies were only Sunday/Monday deals but all were FREE after ECB. The Febreze is all week, get $5 ECB for every $10 in products. Limit 5 per card. The best scenario so that all are FREE is buy 4 noticeables @ $6.50 each, 3 fabric refreshers @ $5 each, and 3 air sprays @ $3 each.

The total is $50 for all that, with Qs, its $25 and you will get $25 back!

I totally love the fabric sprays so this is great!

    Dawn is also FREE after ECB. $2/2 - $.50 Q x 2 = $1 get $1ECB
Pantiliners $.89 each FREE after ECB

    cheap and addicting m&m's!

cvs clearance peanut butter mms m&m's $.39 each!

I try to keep track of each and every purchase I make. I file the receipts, have a spreadsheet with totals, OOP, profits, etc. Now keep in mind, I only started in August. Here are my "year" totals then:

    Walgreens:

    Total SPENT: $111.09 (cash:$56.80, gift cards:$55.38)
Total BACK (in RR or MIR):$431.29
    Total Savings:$2173.43
    PROFIT of $320

    CVS:

    Total SPENT: $63.93 (cash:$7.61, gift cards:$56.32)
    Total BACK (in ECB):$999
    Total Savings:$1742.71
    PROFIT of $936

    Randalls:

    Total OOP: $84.03
    Total Savings:$1390.55

    Kroger:

    Total OOP: $83.27
    Total Savings:$906.08

    OVERALL SPENT: $342.32
    OVERALL SAVED: $6,212.77

I absolutely cannot wait to see what 2009 has in store. And I certainly will be needing some other venue for storage! LOL!

I have so many more ECB to spend this week before they expire, I basically have to give in and "waste" them. Check out the clearance sections at your stores to find what you can at 90% off.

These blankets were just $.25 each

I had to buy them- figure I can donate to the shelters once it gets cold again, or to maybe an animal shelter.
Used a $3 ECB and $.50 on GC for the ice breakers.
